Sunday Afternoon

So here it is Sunday afternoon April 1st and it is just an absolutely glorious day outside. There is a light breeze coming in off the water, high clouds drifting by, and sky divers floating down over the golf course. These are the days that make living on the Treasure Coast an absolute joy, and something you should come down to see.

I can see the river across the street, and there are boats scooting up and down the river on their way to fish, picnic or just out enjoying the perfect weather. Sebastian is an easy place to launch your boat, with plenty of parking for your rigs and such easy access to the Atlantic through the Sebastian Inlet. That is of course if your boat is set up for ocean running. Otherwise there are miles and miles of coast line to explore along the river itself, as it is part of the inter-coastal water way.  Perfect for kayaks, motor boats and sailing, the only question I have is why aren't we both out on the water right now.

We are also nearing the final days of the "snowbird season", so we will be saying goodbye to those who spend their winters here in sunny Florida. It is always such a shame to see them head back home, though we always know we will see them again in the fall, or just after the first snowfall up north. So many of them are planning on eventually making this their permanent home in the future, which is only understandable when you have some many days like today.

If you haven't already purchased a home here, now could be the best time to do so. With such a wide variety of properties on the market, we can find you almost anything you could possibly desire, from a small condo to ocean front mansion. From a small lot to citrus grove or ranch of your own, at prices that have not been seen here in years. Give us a call so we can talk about Indian River County, and why you should be buying here now.
